Northern Lights Yoga

At Northern Lights Yoga we believe in creating a welcoming, safe and fun space for the practitioner to discover his or her fullest potential through yoga asana, meditation and prayanama. We work in smaller groups to achieve real connection as individuals and as a group, as well as to receive individual support in your yoga journey. 

Yoga opens up the possibility of connecting to what we already have — to who we already are. We can become more present, open and resilient to life’s ups and downs as well as receiving physical benefits such as becoming more flexible, increasing mobility and endurance. Our yoga asana practice is Hatha & Ashtanga influenced as well as restorative. 

 

Our approach to yoga teaching is that it is a proactive process, taking in to count the individual's needs, abilities and uniqueness and prior experiences. We offer yoga in beautiful inspiring settings close to nature and adventure.

Flow yoga is a fun and creative strength-based practise including sun-salutations, balancing poses influenced by Hatha yoga. Restorative yoga is a slow yoga known for its relaxing, calming and healing effect. We work with props and seek deep meditation and relaxation. 

The body benefits from movement and the mind benefits from stillness.
Corona pandemic 
Given the current prevailing situation with the spread of the Corona virus, it is important that we all take our personal responsibility and do what we can to prevent the spread of infection. Stay home if you have any symptoms. Please do not come to class if you are feeling sick. Sanitise your mat before and after use and avoid public transport to and from the yoga studio if you can. Wash your hands before and after practise. We sanitise all yoga props as well as the studio before and after class. We will give limited hands-on assistance in order to avoid the spread of disease.
